Welcome Volunteer!

And he said to them, "The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest. Luke 10:2.

We are looking forward to seeing great things that God may do in the days ahead through the Good News Club ministry and the many volunteers or "workers" that He has called into his harvest field that is truly ripe for the harvest! Luke 10:2.

We welcome our new volunteers who may be joining us in this special ministry of reaching children with the Gospel message. CEF values children very highly as did Jesus and wants to insure that they are kept safe and are taught God's word effectively with care and Biblical accuracy. Therefore, CEF requires all new workers to obtain volunteer training as well as complete a volunteer application process that is detailed here. Your friends serving with CEF Knoxville will strive to offer "live" or in person training sessions at partnering churches periodically throughout each year as this is the preferred option for training. However, when in-person training is not readily available in the area or a volunteer has a scheduling conflict, we will try to work with those individuals and share other training options with them. For starters, new or returning volunteers may view some or all of the videos found in the links listed to the right. These will be a good foundation and introduction for volunteers regarding the CEF methods, messages and materials available for children. These may also serve as a supplement or a review to other CEF training some may have already received.

These links are videos of the seminars, demonstrations, and/or corresponding student notes for the following sessions:

For future reference and for ongoing training helps, please note that cefonline or www.cefcmi.com offer free demos for almost all of the CEF songs, as well as for the various key segments of their Good News Club lessons for the current series. The key segments would be the Bible lesson, memory verses, and Wonder Time. These demos are helpful. Many additional free training seminars for teaching children can be found at www.cefcmi.com

Please stay tune for updates regarding local "live" training options or contact our local director.
